The Way of the Rooster: A Warrior’s Duty
I am no mere farm bird. I am a warrior. A protector. A master of the ancient art of Rooster-Fu. My hens depend on me to defend them from all threats—foxes, stray dogs, and most importantly, humans.
The Sacred Duty of the Rooster
Every morning, the humans come stumbling out of their coop (which they call a “house”), looking dazed and confused, probably because they lack proper feathers. Pathetic.
They think they own this farm, but they are mistaken. This is my domain.
And yet, every day, they dare to walk near my hens. Unacceptable.
The Attack Begins
The moment a human steps too close, I engage.
First, I puff out my chest. Maximum intimidation.
Then, I lock eyes with them. Establish dominance.
And finally, I charge.
The human screams. They flail their arms. They run.
“That’s right, coward! Flee before my mighty spurs!”
Some try to fight back. They wave sticks, throw hats, or attempt to kick me away. Fools. I am faster. More agile. I dodge like a feathered martial artist in an action movie.
They call me a “demon chicken.” I accept this title with honor.
Why Are They So Angry?
I truly do not understand why the humans get so upset. I am simply doing my job.
They do not protect the hens. I do.
They do not crow at dawn. I do.
They do not move with the grace of a tiny feathery ninja. I do.
And yet, they curse my name. They call me “stupid bird” and “angry little psycho.”
The Ultimate Showdown
One day, the largest human—the one they call “Grandpa”—decided he’d had enough. He stood his ground.
Foolish.
I launched into the air, wings spread, claws ready.
He swung a broom. I dodged in slow motion.
He yelled, I cackled in triumph.
He ran, I pursued.
The hens watched in awe. The other farm animals cheered.
And as Grandpa dove into the house, slamming the door behind him, I knew:
I had won.
Final Thoughts: I Am Invincible
The humans will never understand my duty, but that is fine. I will continue to train, to defend, to terrify.
Because I am not just any rooster.
I am the legend of the farm.
